Οἱ δὲ ἀπὸ τῶν οὐραίων μερῶν τῶν Ἰχθύων κατὰ τὸ ἑξῆς κείμενοι ἀστέρες Λίνοι προσαγορεύεται· εἰσί δὲ ἐν μὲν τῷ νοτίῳ λίνῳ ἀστέρες θʹ, ἐν δὲ τῷ βορείῳ λίνῳ ἀστέρες εʹ· ὁ δὲ ἐν ἄκρῳ τῷ λίνῳ κείμενος λαμπρὸς ἀστὴρ Σύνδεσμος προσαγορεύτεται.
‘The stars lying from the tail parts of Pisces in a row are called Cords; in the southern cord there are 9 stars, in the northern cord there are 5 stars; the bright star lying on the tip of the cord is called Knot.’
