ἀναγκαῖον καὶ ἕτερον τόπον ἐκ πείρας δοκιμάσαι (ὃν ἀφθόνως ἐπιδείξω), ὅς ἐστιν αἰτιατικὸς καὶ φόβων καὶ κινδύνων καὶ δεσμῶν παραίτιος. ἔστι μὲν οὖν καὶ οὗτος ὁ τόπος ἰσχυρός, λαμβανόμενος ἡμέρας ἀπὸ Κρόνου ἐπὶ Ἄρεα, νυκτὸς δὲ ἀπὸ Ἄρεως ἐπί Κρόνον, καὶ τὰ ἴσα ἀπὸ ὡροσκόπου.

‘It is necessary to test another place by experience (which I will demonstrate amply), which is the “causal” one of fears and dangers and responsible for bonds. This place is also powerful, being measured by day from Saturn to Mars, and by night from Mars to Saturn, and the same distance from the Ascendant.’
