Παράλληλοι μὲν οἱ τοὺς αὐτοὺς πόλους ἔχοντες τῷ κόσμῳ. Εἰσί δὲ παράλληλοι κύκλοι εʹ· ἀρκτικός, θερινὸς τροπικός, ἰσημερινός, χειμερινὸς τροπικός, ἀνταρκτικός.
