सौराः सचूडापदलिप्तिकाख्या भाज्यास्तदान्येन भमण्डलेन । तस्येतरक्षेत्रवदुच्यतेंऽशो ग्रहस्य सर्वस्य तदात्मयोगी ॥४३॥

saurāḥ sacūḍāpadaliptikākhyā bhājyāstadānyena bhamaṇḍalena | tasyetarakṣetravaducyateṃ'śo grahasya sarvasya tadātmayogī ||43||

‘The sauras(solar divisions) called cūḍāpadas and liptikas are to be divided with the other circle of the zodiac signs. Consequentlt, the Aṁśa (portion) of the planet is declared similar to its placement in another sign and this portion becomes united with the very nature (ātma-yogī) of that planet.’
