Trine; the 5th and 9th houses, which form a triangle with the ascendant. Also called Dharma trikoṇa

आद्याच्चतुर्थं चतुरश्रमाहुस्तथाष्टमं नैधनमप्युशन्ति । पृथक्त्रिकोणं त्वथ पंचमं हि स्यात् त्रित्रिकोणं नवमं च विन्द्यात् ॥५१॥

ādyāccaturthaṃ caturaśramāhustathāṣṭamaṃ naidhanamapyuśanti | pṛthaktrikoṇaṃ tvatha paṃcamaṃ hi syāt tritrikoṇaṃ navamaṃ ca vindyāt ||51||

‘From the ascendant, the fourth house is called the Chaturasra (square); the eighth is also known as Naidhana (related to death). But individually the fifth house is called Trikoṇa (triangle), and the ninth is recognized as Tri-trikoṇa (the great or triple triangle)’
