भौमस्य विंशेऽष्टयुते प्रसूतं त्रिंशल्लवे स्वोच्चगृहे निवेशम् । स्वोच्चात्तु जामित्रमुशन्ति नीचं त्रिंशल्लवो यच्च समानसंख्यम् ॥६०॥

bhaumasya viṃśe'ṣṭayute prasūtaṃ triṃśallave svoccagṛhe niveśam | svoccāttu jāmitramuśanti nīcaṃ triṃśallavo yacca samānasaṃkhyam ||60||

‘The Planet mars experience exaltation in 28th degree caused in 30 degrees of its own. From its exaltation, the seventh sign (opposite it) is declared to be its debilitation. And the number of degrees (of debility) is the same as that of exaltation (i.e., corresponding by opposition).”’
